About Us

We're The Library - Pizza and Sports Bar, and we're a local bar and live music venue here in Springfield, IL. We believe in great service, offering no-cover charge entertainment, specialty shots, and games. We started this business to provide a great local hang-out for our community. We're looking forward to growing our business to continue to serve Springfield and the surrounding areas. OMG do not wait to try their pizza. The Artisan crust is THE BEST!! I’m usually a thin crust person, but when we learned this dough is straight from Italy we had to give it a try. It was the thinnest, light and crispy pizza crust we’ve ever had. If the rest of their future menu plans are even half as good as their pizza, we’ve got a winner here on the southside!!

My buddy and I were in town for work back shortly after the place was established and ima say they had the most beautiful and friendly bartenders I've to this day ran into and the couple that opened the place were the most friendly and fun people to hangout with. That was back in 2014 sometime. They said they would send me a bar shirt when they had some made and a month after I left town and made it home I got a very nice surprise in my box! I'm sure the bartenders and the couple don't remember me but I do remember them so thank you all for the good time and love! Glad to see you're doing good! Testimonial written by Larry on this site.
